Don was born in Westchester, Illinois. He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1975 with a degree in Sales & Marketing. In 1976 he started his Real Estate career in Illinois. In 1979, Don became a Texas Broker. In 1990, Don and his wife, Lynn, moved to Lake Kiowa. "We are still enjoying Lake Kiowa after 17 years. It has been a remarkable place to raise our 2 daughters." Upon graduation from the University of Houston (BBA), I enlisted in the United States Army, attended the Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, Okla. and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in US Army Signal Corps in 1969. While on Active Duty, I earned a Masters Degree(MBA) from Golden Gate University. Following 24 years of military service I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. The next 5 years were spent with American Airlines/SABRE in Dallas, Texas. Accepting early retirement from American, I was offered and accepted a Senior Management position in London, England with the "Society of Telecommunications Aeronautical Engineering" (a French based company known as "SITA"). Following 9/11, I retired from Corporate America and relocated with my wife Angie to Lake Kiowa. As a RE/MAX Sales Associate I listed and sold Single Family, Lots & Acreage and Commercial Properties throughout North and Central Texas.
